Introducing Gareth Hughes, our new Sales & Marketing Manager! 

Military insight

Like many of our team, Gareth has an Armed Forces’ background which includes five tours of Afghanistan and tours in Iraq and Syria. This means, he brings with him a wealth of exceptional skills and insights drawn from operational and organisational roles, both in the Army and RAF. 

Gareth’s almost two decades in the military saw him train within Air Traffic Control and running operations rooms for most aircraft types, globally, in dynamic and demanding conditions. And during his last deployment he taught leadership and management skills to junior officers.  

Marketing life

After transitioning to civvy street, Gareth has held leadership and executive coaching positions and worked as a freelance marketer having achieved MCIM status with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also has a degree in Organisational Capability Development and a Master’s Degree in Terrorism Studies.  

Pretty in pink

He has two daughters who keep him on his toes and insist he wears far too much pink than he would like to admit…
