Splash September – 10 projects, 1,650 participants

9 Sep 2022

This September we have 10 projects running for eight charities, involving 1,650 participants!

We have teams in London, Madrid and at various locations in France, who are working with some of the world’s most prestigious business schools; London Business School, ESSEC, INSEAD, CEDEP and IE.

We’re also working with Santander Consumer Finance UK on their Big Build Phase 2, in partnership with Santander HQ, Madrid, to deliver a Splash Project for Fundacion Manatial, a non-profit organisation improving social and health care for people with mental health issues.

The charity has requested shaded areas and improvements to their growing areas for their residents, giving them the opportunity to grow their own produce, which is both therapeutic and social, as part of their healing journeys.

Involving around 100 employees, Phase 2 is an extension to the Splash Projects Big Build Initiative, which promotes meaningful development of the senior leadership team as well as the wider teams involved. Phase 1 took place earlier this year when teams worked hard to help food sustainability charity Loveworks, based in Surrey, London.

Our work with LBS has concluded; you can read all about it here

And our work with IE is under way; you can read about what’s happening here

Meanwhile, with ESSEC we are working with around 90 GMBA (Global Masters in Business Administration) students who are continuing the build of a walkway for children requiring hospital care at Clinique FSEF Neufmoutiers en Brie in Central France.

We will be working with CEDEP at the Centre Hospitalier Sud 77 at Nemours, creating a scaled replica of a railway station and train to help patients with their cognitive reasoning and transition to independent living. It will also serve as a fun attraction for patients and visitors.

Finally, we have two projects with INSEAD; one team will be delivering a project for Centre Hospitalier du Sud Seine et Marne involving the creation of a tiered seating area accessible for users in wheelchairs, limited mobility and full mobility, while the other team will be delivering a project for a Christian residential refuge for young adolescent women. This charity has requested an outdoor seating area, shade and planting area for the girls of the home.

Boy, is it a busy month, but we’re loving every minute!

Can we help with your team building project?
