Taking the classroom outside amplifies impact

Taking the classroom outside into the real world amplifies impact all round.

Learning is amplified when it is wielded to create a legacy for others less fortunate.

We know this, and so do course leaders at Queen’s Business School in Northern Ireland who once again gave 160 of its Masters students the opportunity to learn about social impact first-hand through a Splash Project.

The four-day Splash Project marked the start of the Masters course and this time involved 40 students a day building an interactive play area complete with a lookout tower for Solas na nÓg, an informal Irish Language education charity for young people with additional needs.

The students left a legacy of pride and opportunity for others, strengthening ties with the local community, and among one another.
