Making dreams come true

Dreams can come true in a day.  

A team from Germany’s leading food processing company Kündig Group proved this when we challenged their team of 25 to build a beautiful play fort in eight hours. 

Without the company’s commitment to supporting its community, and its staff, the charity, the Peter Maffay Foundation, would never have been able to afford the new infrastructure. 

Tara Winkler, Assistant Manager for the Foundation, explained:  

“The site is located in beautiful countryside with a lot of surrounding nature and provides a holiday space for traumatised children.  

“Nature heals the hearts of the children and it’s so important for children to play outside. 

“They are not in a good way when they join us, but after their stay with us, they don’t want to go home. 

“This project made our dream – for more inspiring play equipment to help our children – come true.” 

The participants were drawn from three teams across the company and had never worked with one another before. 

Splash Projects are an investment in community and company: we designed Kündig Group’s project to challenge their employees’ teamwork and organisational skills, while reinforcing the company values of innovation, tradition and sustainability. 

It also gave them the life-enriching opportunity to build a sustainable legacy for their community.
