Bringing values to life

Qube Research & Technologies | Various

October 2025

Over six days in the autumn, we worked with 450 tech experts from a global investment management company to help change lives in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and Australia.

Returning to us year-on-year, Qube Research & Technologies bosses use Splash Projects to fulfil their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and give their teams the opportunity to put the firm’s values into practice.

They include:

  • Sustainability
  • Responsibility
  • Community engagement
  • Collaboration
  • Communication

While giving back to the communities where the firm has bases, we ensure their tailormade projects give the teams a chance to improve their skills working as high-performing teams – while having fun.

Here’s what they did and where…

Pearson Adventure Playground, Hackney, London, UK

Over two days, 150 volunteer employees built new play structures and revitalised existing equipment for local children who otherwise wouldn’t have access to much outdoor space.

Hong Kong

In one day, 88 volunteer employees, split between the morning and afternoon, built a range of facilities and infrastructure for city charity Mother’s choice, a care home for pregnant girls.

Singapore

In one day, 44 volunteer employees, split between the morning and afternoon, built a range of multi-sensory play structures for Genesis, a school for children with multiple disabilities and autism, to help students develop beyond their formal curriculum.

Sydney, Australia

The QRT Sydney office opened in January 2025 and had grown sufficiently by October to warrant its first teambuilding experience. In one day, 23 volunteer employees, split between the morning and afternoon, built outdoor seating and growing equipment for the garden at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, a support services charity for elderly and vulnerable people.

Mumbai, India

In one day, 44 volunteer employees, split between the morning and afternoon, built a garden with seating for an outdoor classroom, for children at the Aatman Academy, a school that offers a joyful, inclusive space for children with diverse learning needs.
