Purpose isn’t a buzzword – it’s fuel

Purpose isn’t a buzzword, it’s fuel. It accelerates learning, sharpens leadership, and drives real-world impact.  

IE Business School shares this view and at the beginning of their course 400 Masters in Management students took part in the school’s Purpose in Action Programme. 

Over eight days, 50 students per day transformed wasteland at CEEP Guardarrama school for low-income and disadvantaged families, into a wellbeing hub for relaxing and socialsiing. 

By giving, they also gained; through the experience they uncovered new strengths in themselves, discovered fresh perspectives, and built friendships which have continued well beyond the project’s end. 

During the project many students shared how much they valued being part of a university that prioritises academic excellence and the importance of social impact. 

This is experiential learning at its best: where strategy meets action, and where leadership is not just taught, but lived.  

We believe in learning through doing, leaving behind more than just memories.
