Splash Ambassadors

Adventure with Purpose expeditions. Join us on an immersive, adventure of a lifetime and become a Splash Ambassador for positive social change

Adventure with Purpose, while making a difference – in a week

We launched our Splash Ambassadors programme in Zambia in April 2025 to give individuals – including Splash alumni, families, friends, colleagues and other groups (e.g. veterans) – the opportunity to take part in an immersive Splash Project experience and work with a community to create a sustainable future in their areas of need.

These annual expeditions are life-changing for participants and recipients and are ideal for those who want to do something amazing, but haven’t got much time to spare.

Splash Ambassadors become agents for positive sustainable change and the Splash values of purpose, action, impact, legacy.

Our ambition is to inspire change and action at all levels including local and national government and encourage potential sponsors/donors.

Background

To date, we have delivered 500 projects involving 70,000 participants, impacting hundreds of charities across 38 countries.

Throughout the year Splash Projects partners with businesses and business schools around the world, providing learning and development programmes for their teams which involve them building sustainable infrastructure for communities in need.

Purposeful adventures

The Splash Ambassadors programme combines ‘Adventure with Purpose’ and social impact.

Costs are kept to a minimum to ensure the experiences are as accessible as possible.

We partner with NGOs in the community to maximise our outreach and impact.

Our expeditions support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Splash Ambassadors – Zambia 2025

What we did

  • Created 20 ‘keyhole’ gardens for rural families in desperate need of food security at Western Province Mongu-Nalolo District.
  • Drilled a manual borehole to provide a community with water.
  • Installed state-of-the-art water purification systems.
  • Worked alongside local experts to drive forward sustainable solutions.
  • Flew into Lusaka and flew out of Victoria Falls, experiencing the natural wonders of the region and local life.
  • One-day safari: Kafue National Park and visit to Sioma/Ngonye Falls, Livingstone.

Why

Zambia has been hit by the worst drought in 20 years and more than 60% of the population live below the poverty line.

Partners

We collaborated with several local not-for-profit organisations to maximise our impact, including Echo Zambia teaming up with youth world ambassador charity, One Young World whose Zambian ambassadors were involved.

We also partnered with Icon Lifesaver, a water purification product company, which donated thousands of pounds worth of water purification equipment as part of the expedition.
