Working together as a high-performance team

“Your challenge is to work together as a high performing team…” 

This is what our Project Manager Lloyd Comer told a group of 25 business professionals ahead of their Splash Project in March 2023. 

The team, which was on an executive management programme with INSEAD, were given six hours to build a bike shelter, decking and seating area for residents at La Fondation des Amis de l’Atelier home in Villemer, central France. The home supports the reintegration of people with learning disabilities into the wider community. 

The team rose to the challenge and transformed an unattractive and underused patch of land adjoining the building into a much-loved facility for the residents. 

Florian, a sports teacher at the home, said: “Our residents have wanted a bike shelter for a very long time, so this will greatly improve their day to day lives.”
