Splash Projects Coaching, enhancing impact and purpose

Splash Projects Coaching gives participants an enhanced learning experience going beyond the immersive community project build, for sustainable change.

While our Team and Leadership challenges promote the development of teamwork and leadership skills, our Coaching projects are led by experienced coaches, taking individual and collective learning to an even more profound level.

A coaching leadership style is about empowerment; it’s about inspiring and engaging others, building self-confidence, encouraging self-expression and creative, independent thinking for more effective individual and team development.

During the project, while our Project Leaders will continue to facilitate the flow of the experience, our coaches will be observing and interacting with participants, in preparation for their coaching journey. The participants are primed prior to the project to foster greater self-reflection and awareness that is then discussed and unpacked at key moments around the project, to set-up a personalised coaching plan that can be delivered in-person and virtually.

At the helm of Splash Projects Coaching are esteemed coaches Chris Marren and Patrick Parker, who have a combined 26 years working with Splash Projects and therefore have a deep insight into how coaching can be integrated into a community project.

“Connecting with and understanding our sense of purpose is part of Splash Projects’ DNA,” explained Patrick. “The nature of Splash Projects means they provide the ideal opportunity to observe how we interact in groups, what drives us, what inhibits us and how we communicate, while contemplating emerging patterns in our behaviour that is valuable information for us to work on.

“This fountain of information enables a meaningful coaching experience for long-term impactful change, not only for ourselves, but for those we live and work with – and beyond.”

Key learning outcomes:

  • Greater insight into how you approach an unfamiliar challenge as both an individual and part of a team
  • Analysis of the pearls and pitfalls of your approach including their potential impact
  • Strategies on identified areas to develop and tools to be more effective

Splash Projects Coaching can be customised to each client’s needs and can be provided throughout the project days or be extended to encompass additional, virtual sessions, and focus on individual and/or peer group coaching.
