On a sunny September Saturday in Milan, Splash Projects led 50 participants from the Fondazione De Agostini in the construction of a very ambitious wheelchair-accessible exercise area which included a table tennis table, battle-rope run, skittle alley and a pull-up and dip station. The team also converted the existing shed into a small gym. All this was done to benefit the children and teenagers from Associazione CAF Onlus.

In September, Splash Projects led 100 participants from Santander UK on a Discovery Day where they built a wheelchair-inclusive low ropes activity course, a climbing wall and an outdoor classroom from scratch – all in aid of the Brathay Trust!
The Brathay Trust aims to improve the life chances of children, young people and families by inspiring them to engage positively in their communities. They believe young people learn best through experience, which they achieve through outdoor and creative activities that unlock their potential.
The project was part of Santander UK’s Discovery Days Scheme that encourages staff to take a day out of the office to volunteer for a local cause.

The ever-growing London-based data consultancy DTSQUARED did their first Splash Project in June 2019. Their entire company joined in the creation of a very special playground for the Sacred Heart School in Islington. The playground was cleverly designed by Splash’s in-house designer Andy Yau to encourage Key Stage 1 innovation and creativity – and at the same time be fully mobile and fit through the doors of the downstairs classrooms (so the playground area could transform into a car-park over the weekends). And most of the elements involved intricate painting and decorating too.
