As we launch the new Action Response Challenges, we are proud to be the lead partner of the first ever all para-team to take on a 1400km Kayak from Land’s End to John O’Groats. This is a true adventure that demonstrates the pioneering mind-set we can ignite in your teams to push boundaries and demonstrate what is possible when human spirit and drive come together to deliver something far greater than ourselves.
Splash Projects is built on military foundations and values and therefore feels an extremely strong connection to these incredible Athletes who have all suffered significant injuries during their service to our Nation. The determination, selfless commitment and positive approach are inspiring and demonstrate just some of the qualities that the Splash Team hope to embed into your teams during our projects.
The Kayak 4 Heroes challenge will showcase a true Adventure with Purpose. That purpose will be to raise over £100,000 for the two incredible charities… the Armed Forces Para-Snowsports Team (AFPST), and the Association for the Independence of Disabled People (AID).
With a total of 1,400 kilometres to paddle, this team of four will be aiming to become the first adaptive team to complete the Land’s End to John O’ Groats route and in doing so will aim to challenge the UK perception of disabilities and demonstrate the true power of teams.
