CEDEP: the European Centre for Executive Development or (in French, the Centre Europeen d’education Permanente
Founded in 1970, CEDEP is an Executive Education collaborative learning community that engages leading academics to design and develop innovative and company specific programmes. Their member list includes global brands such as Aviva, AXA, Bakaert, Brambles, and CGG, who remain committed to the development of their staff and the communities in which they operate.
Splash has worked with CEDEP on their executive programmes since 2007, tasking participants to work on real community or charity projects as part of their experiential learning experience. Over the years CEDEP has become a key partner for Splash Projects – we are completely aligned in our thinking.
Splash’s projects are a teaching mechanism that allows the CEDEP participants to develop the leadership, management and team skills so necessary for senior executives, graduates and rising talent alike.
Professors and academic facilitators from CEDEP use the unfamiliar environment of a Splash Team Challenge to reinforce business skills of leadership, collaboration, communication and putting the customer first. Working on a Splash Project also gives the participants a greater understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. All the participants complete their projects with a firm appreciation for CSR and the SDGs and understand the benefits these bring to companies and their staff, as well as to the community/charity.
