Prior to joining Splash Projects as a full-time Programme Manager, Sam was previously a self-employed Electrical Engineer and small business owner, specialising in sustainable and renewable energy sources and fitting intelligent Solar lighting for companies and private customers.
Sam also served in the Royal Navy for 17 years retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. In the early part of his career he served in Commando Helicopter Force first as an engineer and then as a Sea King door gunner, serving in Operations in Afghanistan and across the Gulf region. He commissioned as a Warfare Officer in 2009 serving across the globe and his final role was as the Operations Officer in the Royal Navy Frigate HMS KENT.
Sam plays both rugby for his local team and coaches the under 9 age group, he is also a keen surfer and runner. Along with his wife Claire, they spend a lot of their time desperately trying to get their three young children interested in rugby and surfing!See all Splash Team
