Matt graduated from Plymouth College of Art, with a BA (Hons) 1st in photography, after four years of full-time study. His work predominately focused upon documentary studies producing multimedia films such as PTSD: A portrait, State of Mind and Mark: Motivation.
Working at both a commercial and non-commercial level, he has freelanced for the Western Morning News newspaper and more recently carried out work for the documentary film maker Chris Terrill.
Prior to his degree, Matt served with the Royal Marines between 1989 and 2001, seeing active serve in Iraq and Northern Ireland. During this time he was drafted to 42 Commando, Logistics Regiment and HQ Brigade where he saw out his career as Provost Corporal.
