A student from this year’s Class of 19D at INSEAD, Dongming Wang, has shared her experience of the January MBA Splash Project in Fontainebleau.

Dongming wrote in a recent blog on INSEAD’s website:

The first lesson we learnt at INSEAD was not Finance nor Macroeconomy nor Strategy. Instead, INSEAD taught us what business really is. It is not only about earning revenue or increasing profit – Business is the force for good. It is about bringing value back to the community and society…

…I felt so lucky to gain this experience, this was the first time I had touched a saw and drill, and it was my peer who taught me, not Google!

At the core of every one of our projects is a charity or community organisation that needs help. At Splash Projects, we aim to make a tangible difference to communities and people in need.
