New film reveals volunteering effort

BOA DAY AFTER-20

Children and young people who use Stewart’s Road Adventure Playground in south London have been enjoying exciting new play facilities thanks to Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) volunteers.

100 employees from the company’s EMEA Risk team created elevated play areas, a climbing wall and zip wire. Their efforts were captured in this new film.

The team had previously volunteered their time to help maintain the old play facilities and community centre over the past four years. By partnering with Splash, they were able to deliver a concentrated volunteer programme over three days and create the large scale set of play facilities which support children and young people from some of the poorest areas of the capital. The Splash project was also designed to develop the participants’ leadership and team-building skills.
