Return on Learning Workshop

Splash Community Projects - Leadership Development

The objective of the Return on Learning workshop is to take learning from a Splash Project back to the business with the aim of improving performance longer term.  The participants reflect on behaviours seen during the project with a view to improving performance or change the culture.

The participants who took part in the project are invited to the Return on Learning workshop which usually takes place the day after the project completes.  The workshop lasts approx. 2 – 3 hours and is often conducted in conjunction with an Organisational Behaviour expert or Business School faculty member.

Whilst these workshops seem similar to the After Action Review, they are considerably longer which allows for a deep dive discussion into how the project went in order to learn from mistakes and improve longer term.

Santander build outdoor educational garden for Brooklands Primary

Around 250 people from Santander participated in the 2019 Big Build programme. They completely transformed the space at Brooklands School from an underused area at the back of the school to an edible garden area and outdoor education village that will support the school’s focus to provide a broader curriculum for the pupils.
